Dover places Konecranes order

The port of Dover, UK, has placed an order for two Konecranes Gottwald Model 5 mobile harbour cranes.

The cranes will be installed at cargo facilities under construction as part of the Dover Western Docks Revival (DWDR) development.

The Model 5 mobile harbour cranes will form part of a multipurpose terminal that is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2019. The GHMK 5506 two-rope variant feature a maximum lifting capacity of 125 tonnes and an outreach of up to 51 m.
