June 1 - GAC has opened four new North American logistics offices in Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Lars Heisselberg, GAC Group vice president - Americas, said: "With five years in Houston's oil and gas dominated logistics segment, we are very excited to now expand our US footprint in the general freight forwarding sector with these four initial offices.

The four new offices will have access to GAC Logistics' storage facility in Houston, which is licensed to operate as a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ).

The new Los Angeles branch will be headed up by branch manager Bruce Francisco; Mike Stewart will act as branch manager in Chicago; the Detroit office will be managed by Sandra Alviana; and Jean Davis will serve as branch manager in Atlanta.
