GeoSea, as Siemens' engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) partner, obtained design certification for the monopile and transition piece foundations at the end of 2016, and installation is expected to take place in 2018.

The EnBW Hohe See offshore wind farm is situated approximately 90 km north of the island of Borkum in the North Sea, and covers an area of approximately 40 sq km, with water depths of up to 40 m.

According to GeoSea, Hohe See will have a total installed capacity of 497 MW and will feature 71 Siemens SWT-7.0-154 turbines.
