April 30 - China based InterMax Logistics Solution has delivered a disassembled 700-tonne gantry crane from Nantong, Jiangsu to Chulu Island, Fujian by barge.
A total of eight barges were used to transport the shipment, which comprised 159 parts with a total volume of 50,000 cu m. A floating crane was chartered by InterMax to load the cargo onto the barges.
After one week the barges arrived at Chulu, where Intermax was responsible for unloading the large crane parts.
