December 14 - In an ongoing project, Spain's Kaleido Logistics and Turkey's Smart Lojistik are handling the transport of 143 passenger boarding bridges for the new Istanbul Grand Airport (IGA), Turkey.

 Kaleido Logistics was awarded the contract for the delivery of the passenger bridges, which ranged in length from 16 m to 25m, from the manufacturer's plant in Spain.

The Spanish company is handling the transport of components to Gijón Port, Customs clearance, port handling and the loading of cargoes onto the ocean-going vessel.

Smart Lojistik is responsible for the vessel discharge at the Port of Istanbul and the final delivery of the passenger boarding bridges to IGA.

The two companies expect to transport a total of 15 shipments, with a total volume of approximately 48,600 cu m for the project.

Both Kaleido Logistics and Smart Logistics are members of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC).
