October 1 - Kuebler Spedition has assembled six large tanks at its heavy lift terminal in Mannheim, Germany.

The six tanks, each of which had a diameter of 12.5 m, were ordered by Inter Terminal Mannheim from German manufacturer Müller.

Kuebler explained that due to the sheer size of the tanks, transport by road was not possible so the units had to be delivered via inland waterway. Therefore, Müller decided to build the tanks at Kuebler's terminal on the Rhine.

Once assembled the six tanks were transported to the quayside using a 12-axle trailer owned and operated by Kuebler, before being lifted onto a vessel using a mobile harbour crane and shipped downriver.
