June 4 - Tuscor Lloyds has coordinated the last-minute shipment of subsea oil well equipment from Malta to the UK.

The equipment was loaded into four 40 ft flatrack containers and two 20 ft open top containers before being shipped from Marsaxlokk to the UK on two separate liners, one destined for the port of Southampton and one for Felixstowe.

Tuscor Lloyds explained that splitting the shipment allowed a short delivery window to be achieved, with the cargo arriving in the UK at the same time, and with the necessary equipment ready to handle the cargo at both ports of discharge.

The oil well equipment was finally loaded onto low loader trucks for road transport to the cargo's destination in Aberdeen.
