June 1 - Two Liebherr mobile cranes have been used to launch a 100-tonne motor ship, called Seegold, into Lake Constance at Friedrichshafen in Germany.

The 32 m long by 7.8 m wide motor ship was built in Bonn and transported along the river Neckar, before being lifted out of the water by Wiesbauer in Heilbronn and loaded onto a Kuebler Spedition low loader for transport to Friedrichshafen.

At the quay, the two cranes - an LTM 1350-6.1 crane from Wiesbauer's fleet and an LTM 1400-7.1 from the fleet of Hermann Paule - were used to launch the ship's hull into the water in a tandem hoist.

Once in the water, Seegold sailed to the Wallhausen harbour for a few further modifications, before beginning operation in the shuttle service between Wallhausen and Überlingen.
