July 23 - With the addition of customers in Haiti, Suriname and Luxembourg, Liebherr Maritime Cranes has now delivered mobile harbour cranes to over 100 countries.
The newly built port of Lafito in Haiti has become the country's first Liebherr Maritime Cranes customer, with the addition of two new LHM 420 mobile harbour cranes at the gateway.
Paramaribo, Suriname based stevedoring company VSH Transport has received its first mobile harbour crane at the port of Paramaribo, which is designed mainly for container handling, as well as bulk and general cargo operations.
The first Liebherr mobile harbour crane was also delivered to Luxembourg, with the arrival of an LHM 420 model at the Port de Mertert. The crane, which is equipped with a 124-tonne capacity winch and 48 m boom, will mainly be used for general cargo handling.
