K+N sets sights on CIS

With a primary focus on serving clients in the oil and gas as well as consumer goods industries, Kuehne + Nagel (K+N) has opened offices in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, strengthening its logistics network in Central Asia and the Caucasus.

The new legal entities, located in Baku and Almaty, will serve the two emerging countries, says K+N, adding that both show a rising demand for logistics services.

“Our proven expertise in oil and gas and project logistics and our strong global network are best suited to meet the soaring market demand and provide comprehensive state-of-the-art solutions,” said Perry Neumann, president cluster Russia and the CIS and general director of Kuehne + Nagel LLC.
