September 7 - Mammoet has been awarded the transportation contract for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Freeport, Texas.
The contract includes transporting a number of oversize units to two different sites, located 3 miles (4.8 km) apart.
Mammoet will use two different transport methods - by barge and by road - depending on the dimensions and weight of the individual cargoes.
Transport operations have already begun and will continue through to 2017.
