April 15 - As the McAleese Group works out the financial impact of Atlas Iron's decision to shut down its iron ore mines, shares in the Australian transport contractor have been suspended from trade.

Atlas Iron is a key customer for McAleese, which hauls iron ore by truck from the Pilbara mines to Port Hedland.

Last week, Atlas Iron announced it will suspend all operations by the end of April because of plunging iron ore prices, and McAleese said it was now reviewing the operational and financial implications of that decision.
