February 20 - Kansas headquartered logistics concern MIQ Logistics has opened a new global service centre in New Orleans, USA.

The new facility will serve the needs of international forwarding customers in the Gulf south region of the USA. The centre has been tailored to fit the needs of the US government, shipbuilding, aerospace and mining industries.
 
The centre has been strategically positioned midway between the international airport and the port of New Orleans, in order to effectively support both ocean and air forwarding customers.


MIQ Logistics has also strengthened its sales team with the addition of Tony Ponder as director of business development. Ponder will be based out of the New Orleans office.
