March 23 - Freight executives attending the Combined Logistics Networks' annual meeting, to take place in Bangkok, Thailand from May 25-30, are set to discuss ways of recovering from the global economic crisis.

Combined Logistics Networks (CLN) is an alliance consisting of the Combined Freight Network, made up of independent freight forwarders, airfreight specialists AIRConsol Network, shipping cargo experts SeaConsol Network and project cargo forwarders the P&HL Alliance.

The network of the four different logistics alliances has grown to over 400 members since its formation in 2002.

CLN chief executive officer Christian Raeuber said: "The annual meeting gives our entire membership pool the chance to explore win-win partnerships, just as the business world emerges from the downturn of the past year or so."

The event at the Shangri-La Hotel is for members only, with the conference package including a face-to-face meeting scheduler, all meeting materials, buffet lunch and cocktail reception.
