August 30 - “K” Line has established a cargo handling service provider in India, Nitto Baxi, through a joint venture with its group company Nitto Total Logistics and business partner J.M. Baxi.
Nitto Baxi initially plans to offer stevedoring and handling services for vehicles shipped on car carriers, but intends to extend its services to cover other types of vessel as well, informed "K" Line.
Nitto Baxi will be based in Mumbai.
