July 15 - Nordana has added port calls at Sagunto to the itinerary of its iMED service.

The service which was launched in May this year now covers both Sagunto and Tarragona in Spain, in addition to Fos in France and Genoa in Italy from where service is offered to ports in Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, and Algeria.

Operated by the ro-ro ship, Silkeborg, the iMED service can handle all types of rolling cargo in addition to project, breakbulk and container cargo. Heavy lift cargo can be handled using Nordana's extensive fleet of mafi trailers with capacity upto 120 tons.

The iMED service complements Nordana's existing ro-ro operation and new connections can be offered via transshipment at the shipping line's hubs in Tarragona and Genoa.
