EXG presses ahead in India

December 11 - Express Global Logistics (EXG) has transported a brick manufacturing press from Shanghai to Siliguri, India.

Due to the height of the cargo, which measured 3 m x 1.7 m x 6.8 m and weighed 65 tons (59 tonnes), EXG had to lift the roof off of the factory in Shanghai to load the press onto a truck for transportation to the port.

The cargo subsequently sailed to Mumbai Port Trust for onward transportation to Siliguri by road, a distance of 2,350 km.

EXG is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India.
