Hulst steps up at Pecém

Corné Hulst has been named as operational director at the port of Pecém, Brazil.

Working on behalf of the Port of Rotterdam Authority, which has a 30 percent share in the enterprise, Hulst will be tasked with developing Pecém’s industrial and free zone area – Complexo Industrial e Portuário do Pecém (CIPP). 

In October 2018, the port of Rotterdam signed an investment agreement with the port of Pecém that will see it invest approximately EUR75 million (USD85 million) in Pecém’s port complex, as HLPFI reported here
