NYK loads in Rostock

Last month, one of NYK Line’s PCTC vessels called at Liebherr’s facility at the port of Rostock to load nearly 30 roll trailers.

NYK said it is the first deepsea ro-ro carrier to call at Rostock. The shipment included cargoes measuring up to 4.4 m tall as well as crane jibs measuring over 30 m long.

The units are destined for offshore projects in Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City and Shanghai, added NYK.

The equipment used for loading was mobilised to Rostock from NYK’s depot in Bremerhaven.
