Reachstackers arrive in Wilmington

GT USA Wilmington has taken delivery of three fully electric 45-ton (40.8-tonne) reachstackers from Konecranes.

The delivery is part of an order that also includes nine 41-ton (37.2-tonne) capacity rubber-tyred gantry cranes. The units will be delivered during 2019 and 2020, in line with GT USA’s plans to modernise and improve its infrastructure in Wilmington.

USD500 million is being invested to modernise the port and develop a new container terminal at Edgemoor.
