Rickmers-Linie names Brunoni as Swiss agent

December 8 - Rickmers-Linie, the breakbulk, heavylift and project cargo specialist headquartered in Hamburg, has appointed Zurich-based O Brunoni SA as its Swiss agent with effect from 1 January 2010.

Brunoni will take over the agency activities for Rickmers-Linie from Cargonautic AG, which has been acting as Rickmers' agency since 1998, but will close down its business at the end of this year. 

"We are delighted to announce our new association with Brunoni. With this company, we have found a partner who is highly committed and we are looking forward to working with Brunoni in the future", explains Gerhard Janssen, director marketing & sales, Rickmers-Linie. 

Peter Furian, managing director, Brunoni SA points out: "We are very proud to have been awarded this contract. We are looking forward to offering our services to this highly regarded and traditional shipping line and to be working with renowned customers in the interesting environment that is the breakbulk and project market. We will do our utmost to be a worthy successor to Cargonautic."
