May 22 - Douala, Cameroon based SCTEM has become the newest member of the Project Cargo Network.

The company specialises in providing logistics services to the oil and gas industry, however it can deliver heavy lift and project cargo services to any sector.
 
"Nowadays, we are a recognised company in Cameroon and have proudly and successfully managed more than 200 projects," commented Alain Brian B Nzombi, projects coordinator and business development manager, SCTEM, adding, "we fully understand the need for detailed planning and a sense of urgency and accuracy essential for the project cargo market".
 
Pictured is a recent project completed by SCTEM - the TransOcean-owned rig SEDCO 702 was moved from offshore Nigeria to Cameroon for repairs and tank cleaning. SCTEM was responsible for: the coordination and movement of heavy equipment; supply chain management; Customs clearance of the rig and spares; and personnel logistics, including arranging visas and transport of rig personnel, project and repair teams.

 
SCTEM has also handled the shipment of boats on behalf of the Cameroon Ministry of Defence (pictured).
