The port of Savannah in Georgia has welcomed its first Seaboard Marine vessel call earlier this month, and the shipping line is preparing to launch additional services from the port.

Seaboard Marine’s weekly service to northern Central America (El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua) commenced on May 8.

Starting in June 2019, Seaboard Marine will offer weekly services for both northbound and southbound cargoes between the port of Savannah and South America (Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru), southern Central America (Costa Rica and Panama), and the Caribbean (Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire, Curacao, the Dominican Republic, Grand Cayman, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Suriname and Trinidad).
