HFW boosts shipping practice 

International law firm HFW has made a series of senior appointments to its shipping practice. 

Claire Womersley has been promoted to partner, while Caroline Murphy and Katherine Noble have been named legal directors.

Womersley specialises in all aspects of crisis responding and ensuing ‘wet’ litigation arising from marine casualties. 

Meanwhile, Murphy handles a wide range of dry shipping disputes, involving charter parties and bills of lading, as well as on shipbuilding disputes and the dry aspects of shipping casualties.

Noble specialists in asset finance with a particular emphasis on ship finance.
