WSM strengthens renewables portfolio

Wilhelmsen Ship Management (WSM) has acquired a 50 percent stake in NorSea Wind.

NorSea Wind, founded in 2016 as a subsidiary of NorSea Group, provides project management and logistics planning throughout all stages of onshore and offshore wind energy projects. 

“NorSea Wind offers an exciting opportunity for WSM to strengthen our service offering within the wind energy market,” explained Carl Schou, president and ceo of WSM. 

John Stangeland, president and ceo of NorSea Group, added that the acquisition will enable both parties to meet the future requirements of the wind energy sector.
