Zeamarine gets the go ahead

The proposed joint venture between Zeaborn and Intermarine – Zeamarine – has received governmental and agency approvals.

The formation of Zeamarine was announced earlier this year, as HLPFI reported here. The companies will combine global offices and consolidate assets and operating entities from Zeaborn’s commercial activities, as well as Zeaborn-owned Rickmers Line and Maritime Holdings-owned Intermarine.

The joint venture says that it operates more than 85 vessels at present, and is expected to exceed 100 vessels by year-end.
