August 20 - When production of two 30m, 80-tonne cryogenic tanks was recently delayed at the factory in Thailand, Bangkok-based forwarder The Freight Co was required to charter last minute capacity to transport the vessels to Australia.

The Freight Co's chartering manager Mr Duong was able to secure space on Beluga Elegance for the journey to Port Dampier, Western Australia.

A member of the Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN), The Freight Co's chartering service has proven to be popular with GPLN members.

Recent charters have involved shipments from Hong Kong to Ho Chi Minh City; Masan to Semarang; Batu Ampar to Chiba; Laem Chabang to Dammam; and from Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau both to Dampier.
