Liebherr claims that the LTM 11200-9.1's telescopic boom is the longest in the word at 100 m. With lattice extensions and a luffing jib, the crane can reach hoisting heights of up to 188 m.

The nine-axle machine with its variable boom system is suitable for use in industry, infrastructure and power generation jobs, said Liebherr. "We particularly use our LTM 11200-9.1 in the wind power industry," added Peter Guttenberger, director of transport and machines at Max Bögl. "They are perfect for erecting hybrid towers."

Max Bögl received its first LTM 11200-9.1 in April 2013, before taking delivery of its second model in May 2014. 2014 has seen Max Bögl receive at total of six new Liebherr mobile cranes.
