Tianjie SPMTs move 500-tonne load

August 1- Wuhan Tianjie Heavy Industries (THI) has deployed its self propelled modular transporters (SPMT) to move a 500-tonne petroleum tank a distance of 6 km in Nanjing, China.

The THI team arrived at the project site with two sets of 12-axle line THI2.43 SPMTs.
The THI2.43 SPMT is a heavy-duty transportation system with a platform width of 2.43 m and an axle load capacity of 40 tonnes. A power pack unit delivers drive power and remote-controlled independent steering allows for maximum manoeuverability.

Hydraulic lifting suspension and a pendulum axle can compensate for uneven road condition, keep a load level and secure.
THI was able to complete the project successfully in several hours.
THI is the parent company of Shanghai based Fulangjie Import and Export Co Ltd.
