December 1 - An ISO-accredited Certificate in Project Cargo Management professional development course is being held in conjunction with the Breakbulk Africa Congress in Johannesburg in February, 2015.

The course, which will be delivered by founder and general manager of the Project Professionals Group (PPG), Kevin Stephens, and business communication educator Rodger Hall, is designed to meet the needs of African logistics businesses handling abnormal load transports.

Stephens says that the training course is timely as Africa gears up for large projects, such as new railways, port and airports, as well as the continuing expansion of the country's energy sector.

The training course modules focus on up-skilling attendees to confidently manage multimodal cargo transportation, and refresh knowledge on abnormal load requirements. The course also targets business writing and presentation skills to improve project communications with clients and colleagues.

"This course is ideal for African companies wanting to demonstrate to clients that they have the capabilities to successfully transport high value cargos that require complex logistics solutions," added Stephens.
