April 14 - TTS Group, through its newly-established Chinese joint venture company TTS-SCM Marine and Offshore Machinery, has signed an agreement with Shanghai Shipyard for the delivery of various TTS deck equipment for six vessels.

The contract mainly includes heavy lift cranes as part of Cosco's (China Ocean Shipping Company) ongoing fleet extension programme. TTS will also deliver hatch covers and winches to Cosco through another joint venture company: TTS Hua Hai.

The TTS deck equipment delivery is for six 28,000 dwt multipurpose heavy lift vessels, which are being built at the Shanghai Shipyard.

TTS-SCM will offer marine crane with capacities ranging from 100 to 800 tonnes, suitable for the handling of heavy lift and project cargoes, as well as lattice boom cranes with capacities of up to 1,500 tonnes for use on offshore work boats and supply vessels.
