February 11 - Globalink has handed the transport of two transformers from Turkey to North Buzachi in Kazakhstan, as well as the transport of Pratt & Whitney aircraft engines from Uzbekistan to Singapore and back.

The two transformers were loaded and lashed onto low bed trucks in Turkey before being transported by road to Georgia, where Globalink Georgia coordinated border formalities and monitored the shipment through the country and into Kazakhstan.

In Kazakhstan, Globalink's Baku team loaded the transformers from the trailers onto a vessel for shipment across the Caspian Sea to Aktau, where the cargo was delivered to the final job site.

In another project shipment, Globalink Uzbekistan was contracted to transport Pratt & Whitney aircraft engines from Tashkent to Singapore for repair.

The cargo was first transported by road to Navoi Airport, where it was loaded into a Boeing 747-400 and flown to Singapore.

Once the engines had been overhauled to industry standards in Singapore, Globalink handled the transport of the engines back to Tashkent, to be installed in an Uzbek Airlines aircraft.
