March 11 - Van der Vlist has coordinated the transport of a Komatsu WA800 wheeled loader from Norway to Romania.

The machine, which weighed 102 tonnes and had the dimensions 14 m x 4 m x 5.2 m, was shipped from Norway to the Netherlands onboard a ro-ro vessel, before being delivered by barge to Van der Vlist's facility in Groot-Ammers.

On arrival, the wheeled loader was disassembled into 14 sections in order to reduce its size, and make the cargo suitable for road transport to Romania using a combination of semi low loaders and tilt trailers.

Having been transported by road through six countries, the machine arrived at a copper mine in western Romania, where it was re-assembled ready for work.
