October 28 - Van der Vlist has transported a dismantled 105-tonne Komatsu WA 800 wheel loader from the Netherlands to a quarry in Norway, where the machine was reassembled.

Due to the massive dimensions of the wheel loader - 13.7 m x 4.58 m x 5.27 m - the machine was dismantled into 12 separate pieces for transportation.

The 12 units were then transported to the quarry using a small fleet of trucks with a variety of trailers.

On arrival at the jobsite, Van der Vlist used two mobile cranes to re-assemble the full machine. Once it had been tested and inspected, the wheel loader was immediately sent to start work in the ilmenite mine.
