February 5 - Netherlands based Wagenborg Nedlift has acquired a brand-new 400-ton mobile crane manufactured by Tadano Faun.

The crane is equipped with a 31 m hydraulic fly jib that can be self-assembled, without the need for an assistant crane. It is also equipped with a flat deck, extensive set of fences, railings and staircases.

Transport of the crane's counterweight takes place on a semi low-loader as opposed to a traditional counterweight trailer. The working height of the semi low-loader is considerably lower than that of a conventional trailer, therefore improving safety during the loading and offloading of counterweight parts, claims Wagenborg Nedlift. The mobile crane is also equipped with a Lift Adjuster that prevents load sway during hook off operations.
