Wangfoong in transformer shipment

Wangfoong Transportation has handled three transformers in Hong Kong.

Each transformer measured 6.8 m x 4.5 m x 5.1 m and weighed 170 tons (154.2 tonnes).

Wangfoong positioned a crane barge next to an ocean-going vessel to transfer transformers in preparation for onward delivery.

Upon arrival at a jetty near the project site, the shipment was transferred directly from the vessel onto trailers using the crane barge. The units were then delivered to the final jobsite where they were unloaded using a 500-ton (453.6-tonne) capacity mobile crane.

Wangfoong Transportation is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC).
