December 21 - The WCA Family of Logistic Networks Ltd has seen two of its members ship heavy and oversized cargoes recently.

South Korean-based Kimex Air & Sea moved eight chiller machines weighing 49.5 tonnes each for client LG Electronics, between Masan Port in South Korea to Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Kimex was responsible for inland transportation to Masan Port and the arrangement of a suitable vessel, lifting equipment, Customs clearance, inspection and qualified personnel for the out-of-gauge shipment.

WCA Family member Sarjak Container Lines, India, recently shipped over dimensional machinery for a new sugar factory being built in Maharashtra, India.

The consignment consisted of 17 crates, of which eight weighed over 11 tonnes. One over-dimensional piece measured 3.1 m x 2 m x 2.3 m and weighed over 12 tonnes.

WCA Partner, ROTRA of the Netherlands, supported this shipment acting as handling agent in Europe.
