Such was the success of the WCA Projects network’s 12th annual conference in Hamburg, Germany, recently that the group is planning to return to the city for its 2019 conference.

The network’s 13th annual conference will be held from May 17 – 19, 2019 – just before next year’s Breakbulk Europe event.

This year’s conference was WCA Project’s largest conference to date with nearly 190 members attending.

Delegates enjoyed an informative keynote address about insurance, surveying and compliance issues from Gino Covello, of CSL Global surveyors, followed by a member discussion panel covering current issues.

The best project partners, which are decided by a vote from all the network’s members, were also announced at an awards dinner held in Hamburg Maritime Museum.

Regional best partner awards went to Egyptian Global Logistics for Africa; MS Global Freight Solution, Malaysia for Asia; Hemisphere Freight Services for Europe; Aargus Global Logistics for the Indian Subcontinent; Multitraslados for Latin America; AMI International for the Middle East and Mantoria for North America.

For the third year in succession, the top agent of the year 2017 worldwide award went to MS Global Freight Solution.
