February 3 - As part of an initiative to advance transparency in the shipping industry, the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) and Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) networks have received certification from anti-bribery compliance organisation TRACE.
HLPFI reported on December 11 that the two networks had formed a partnership with the anti-bribery business association to bring information and awareness of anti-corruption tools and solutions to project forwarders.
The organisation has now completed a TRACEcertification review of the WWPC and CEE, which signifies that the two networks have undertaken internationally-accepted due diligence procedures and have been forthcoming and cooperative during the review process.
Proud to have achieved this important certification for the WWPC and CEE, director of both networks, Wolfgang Karau, confirmed that the president of TRACE, Alexandra Wrage, will address attendees with a presentation about the organisation at both networks' conferences in May.
