North American LNG capacity could double by 2029
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exporters in the USA have announced plans to more than double the country’s liquefaction capacity, adding an estimated 13.9 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) between 2025 and 2029, according to the US Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) Liquefaction Capacity File.
DOE to return USD13 bn of ‘unobligated funds’
