The European offshore wind energy sector, while reporting a record year for installations in 2023, is still some way off track. Overall, the EU aims to install 420 GW of wind energy by 2030, up from 205 GW today. One (of many) reasons why the Continent is lagging is a result of limited supply chain investment.
