Hansa Heavy Lift names chief commercial officer

May 2 - Hansa Heavy Lift has appointed Joerg Roehl as its chief commercial officer responsible for the areas of global sales, strategic business development and marketing.

Roehl (pictured below) brings with him more than 20 years of experience in leading positions within the logistics and shipping sectors.

Last year, he supported Hansa Heavy Lift as an external consultant focusing on the creation of its worldwide sales network, including the establishment of the shipping company's Singapore office.

"The appointment of Joerg Roehl is an important step in the continued growth of Hansa Heavy Lift. The appointment of Joerg to the role of chief commercial officer is an essential component of overall go to market strategy", said Roger Iliffe, CEO of Hansa Heavy Lift.
