Heavy lift helicopters for the Amazon

November 7 - Portland, USA based Erickson Air-Crane, a leading operator and the manufacturer of the powerful Erickson S-64 Aircrane heavy lift helicopter, is set to acquire 14 helicopters and associated personnel and assets from HRT Participacoes em Petro

A non-binding letter of intent signed for the acquisition to be completed requires that Erickson provides operational services to HRT in the Amazon, including both cargo and passenger transport, through a three-year, renewable contract.
