In a deal worth approximately DKK106.7 billion (USD16.27 billion), DSV has completed the acquisition of Schenker after all conditions and requirements from Deutsche Bahn have been met.

With the deal cleared earlier this month, this is the largest transaction in DSV’s history. It expects the combined company to have a revenue of approximately DKK310 billion (USD47.27 billion) along with a workforce of close to 160,000 employees across more than 90 countries.

“By combining the two companies we will create a unique flexible platform for long-term financial growth to the benefit of our customers, employees, shareholders and other stakeholders,” said Jens Lund, group ceo, DSV.

The business move aims to provide DSV access to new markets and talents, bolstering both its global network and competitiveness.

Schenker will be included in DSV’s consolidated financial statements from May 1, 2025.

Earlier this month, DSV added to its group executive committee.
