Blue Water Shipping has promoted Florian Pinz as managing director, Singapore and Malaysia.
Pinz first joined Blue Water Shipping back in 2011 as a project chartering manager. Since April 2021, has served as a regional general manager based out of Singapore for Blue Water’s energy, ports and projects division.
Last month, the company celebrated 25 years of operations in Singapore, which serves as its primary hub for its Asian activities. Recently, Blue Water bolstered its offering in the country and opened a logistics warehouse for project and oversized cargo. The warehouse provides 45,000 sq ft (4,180.6 sq m) of indoor and 30,000 sq ft (2,787.1 sq m) of outdoor storage. It will have a special focus on oil and gas equipment and marine spares.
