The University of Houston has officially incorporated project logistics in its catalogue as part of the supply chain and logistics technology programme.
The project logistics course number is SCLT 4386. It is led by Marco Poisler, chief operating officer, global energy and capital projects at UTC Overseas, who has been teaching the course for the past two years.
Now that it is officially part of the university’s catalogue, Poisler said: “Leveraging 30 years of on-the-job and formal training gleaned working with colleagues and partners with my travel to over 90 countries, training at the World Trade Center Institute in New York City and SUNY Maritime’s MBA/masters in transportation, I am excited to continue to share my experience and knowledge with the future leaders in capital project logistics.”
