The Port of Rotterdam Authority has appointed Boudewijn Siemons as ceo. He has served as interim ceo since last summer when Allard Castelein stepped down from the role.
Castelein left the port authority last year after nearly a decade in service. In addition to his role as interim ceo, Siemons continued in his position as chief operating officer – a role he will continue to hold on an interim basis.
The executive board of the port authority now consists of Siemons and Vivienne de Leeuw, chief financial officer, while it conducts a search for a new chief operating officer.
