In the UK, Sterling Global Marine has acquired fellow marine surveying company, Geoff Waddington & Partners in a move it says will allow the company to significantly upscale its business across both the leisure and commercial industry sectors.
Established in 2015, Sterling Global Marine is led by director and experienced marine surveyor, Lee Warltier, and specialises in all types of marine surveying, including project cargo, newbuild project management, coding and MCA compliance, as well as draft and bunker surveys.
Warltier, director of Sterling Global Marine, added: "Over the past three years we have worked on expanding the company and welcomed a number of surveyors to our team - each with specific areas of expertise.
"Geoff Waddington & Partners is a well-known marine surveying company with a strong reputation, particularly in the areas of yacht shipping and cargo surveys."
