German crane contractor Dietmar Flossdorf has taken delivery of a second Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane as well as an LTM 1110-5.2.
The eight-axle LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 750 tonnes. The crane will be put to work on bridge construction and wind farm sites, as well as for work in industry, refineries and heavy-duty handling.
The new LTM 1650-8.1 has already been deployed into the market, loading machine parts weighing 115 tonnes at the Rhine harbour in Andernach. The components were loaded onto a barge for onward transport.
The LTM 1110-5.2, meanwhile, has a maximum lifting capacity of 110 tonnes. It is the third crane in this load capacity in the company’s fleet.
