Belgian crane service provider Dufour has boosted its fleet with three additional Demag AC 250-5 cranes.

The 250-tonne capacity AC 250-5 is the biggest all-terrain crane in Demag’s five-axle series and has a total length of 14.49 m.

Along with the five-axle steering, the independent rear axle steering and dynamic launch control make the crane highly manoeuvrable and ideal for working in tight spaces, said Demag.

Many of the Demag five-axle crane components are interchangeable, which helps lower inventory costs, said Olivier Dufour, administrator at Dufour.

The crane service provider plans to utilise the cranes for the Grand Paris infrastructure project in France. The cranes will also assist the company’s other Demag cranes in construction and infrastructure projects, including the erection of wind turbines.
